We had an extremely busy week. I am worn out. Monday night we had the pleasure of working with a member who came in from England for business and asks to go out with the missionaries wherever he travels.
I actually met him when I was in Napoli the first time I was here a year and a half ago so it was great seeing him again. Then we received our transfer calls and heard my companion was leaving so from that moment on it was absolutely crazy. We were running around seeing members and everyone else we could see in the few days he was still in Napoli. It was tiring but great getting to see so many people from investigators to GANS to less actives and everyone in between.
The actual transfer day went really well with no hiccups at all. I was grateful for that. Small miracles. Italian travel.
We are seeing great strides being made in our relationship with the branch. It is great as a missionary to gain the trust of the leadership where you serve and help them to know you are here to sustain them in any way possible.
I see enormous potential this next transfer. We have so much work to do and so many miracles to see and do. If we put everything we have into it than we will receive infinite in return.
I love this work. Sunday I was asked to give a talk and I spoke on the Doctrine of Christ. How blessed we are to have the simplicity of Christ’s teachings summarized so clearly in the Book of Mormon?! I love the Book of Mormon. I love that we can know exactly what we need to do to achieve eternal joy already in this life. It is not supposed to be easy. We must be willing to sacrifice and struggle through every now and then because that is how growth is made. I know this is true with all my heart.
I love you all!
